ChitoHem is an antibacterial, biocompatible hemostatic powder made of polysaccharide, oxidized regenerated cellulose, suitable for all types of bleeding including arterial, venous, capillary and oozing in surgical procedures or injuries. It prevents postoperative adhesion.

Particle size of ChitoHem powder is within 38-150 µm leading to fast penetration of bleeding site making it suitable for patients with coagulopathic disorders including hemophilia, Glanzmann & Von Willebrand diseases and problematic bleeding situations. It generates no heat.
ChitoHem has a special applicator (in sizes of 10 and 38 cm).The applicator is an effective powder delivery system capable of delivering a controlled amount of hemostatic powder accurately at the bleeding site during laparoscopic surgery and out of reach of areas.
